Head Usher Brian Lynch Celebrates The Cap's Sixth Anniversary with His Favorite Shows

Sep 25  / Tuesday

The Cap celebrated our sixth year of live music magic this September! Since re-opening in 2012, we've had an amazing ride and can't thank all of our fans and staff enough for their support. We spoke with Head Usher Brian Lynch about his most memorable moments from The Cap. Although this list could stretch for miles, Brian has narrowed it down and shared his top shows over the years.

Phil Lesh & Friends: 2012-2018

"By far, the most fun shows to work are the Phil Lesh shows. The theater is literally jumping with energy, and everyone is dancing throughout the building. The best nights at The Cap for me have been the Phil Lesh & Friends Halloween and other New Year's Eve shows. Everyone is in a great mood and the bands always rise to the occasion. "

Brian's Favorite Shows of 2012

Kenny Wayne Shepherd on September 22, 2012

"We have had many great gifted guitarists at The Cap, but Kenny Wayne Shepherd really does it for me. His cover of Jimi Hendrix's 'Voodoo Chile' is stellar. "

"Seeing Jason Bonham cover the Zeppelin catalogue and drumming alongside a video of his dad, John Bonhman, on 'Moby Dick' made this show memorable."
