Event Details
Summerfeet:
Born largely during the pandemic, when the world was scary and uncertain, Summerfeet instinctively knew what we needed when we needed it most; yacht-rock-for-hippies feel-good covers and deep jams from classic artists. ncluding Steely Dan, Grateful Dead, Seals and Crofts, The Meters, Wilco and Phish. Summerfeet firmly believed that simply playing and sharing live music with and for friends, would shine a bright light in the darkness...they were right.
Now, with those unsettling precarious early days growing more distant in our collective rearview mirror, the band's palpable gratitude for being able to perform for their ever-expanding fan base who have become like family, makes every Summerfeet show feel like an ongoing musical love fest.
Summerfeet makes you feel fine…
Clare + Nate:
Internationally acclaimed musician, Clare Maloney, has shared the stage with members of The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, Hall & Oates, Blood Sweat & Tears, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Hot Tuna, The Tubes and the New Riders of the Purple Sage. Her interpretations of the folk and rock favorites of the 60s and 70s era have gained her a loyal following for her powerful voice and her ability to move effortlessly between Grace Slick’s “White Rabbit” and Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock.”
Before transitioning to Rock and Roll full time, Clare trained extensively and toured as an opera singer, enjoying a diverse career spanning many musical genres along the way. On the classical stage, she has appeared multiple times at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, 92ndY, Merkin Concert Hall, National Sawdust, and at concert halls across the country and throughout Europe.
Since 2018, she has toured as the vocalist for The Englishtown Project – a tribute to the Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage and The Marshall Tucker Band – with notable residencies at Brooklyn Bowl, The Stone Pony, Highline Ballroom, and Toad’s Place among others.
A uniquely versatile artist, Clare is an in-demand studio session vocalist, having lent her voice to numerous studio projects including jingles, TV theme songs, national ad campaigns, and new music by composers writing for Broadway, Jazz, Opera and the concert stage. Most recently, Clare debuted her “Women of Woodstock” tribute show at the River Spirit Music Festival featuring music performed and written by the Women who rocked the Woodstock festival in 1969. In 2019, Clare performed her solo cabaret show to two sold-out crowds at the Tarrytown Music Hall and is currently developing her first album of original music.
