The Capitol Theatre and The Rock and Roll Playhouse are thrilled to announce a unique, interactive, and educational live music experience for children ages 7-years-old and under. Starting September 26, and running until December 19, 60-minute workshops starting at 11:00am will focus on specific eras, artists, and genres of music.

During each fun-filled class, children will explore live music, movement, and collaborative creativity. Young talents will gain knowledge and develop their musical skills through laughter and imagination. We invite the whole family to join us and play as we aim to build creativity in children ages 7-years-old and younger.

Break out your hammer pants and do the Macarena as we span the MTV decade.

12/12 Writing the Blues

Using a simple 12 bar blues form, we will write, improvise and sing the Blues.

12/19 60s for Little Rockers

From Motown to songs of peace and love this workshop spans a decade of change.
