On March 15, 2017 we celebrated the 77th birthday of our dear friend, Phil Lesh. As a birthday surprise, we handed out over 2,000 candles to the audience members adorned with a Phil Lesh & Friends sticker. The Capitol Theatre interns helped create the beautiful landscape of candles by unpacking and hand crafting each candle with a sticker for a truly special experience.

On Saturday, July 22, we celebrated Marco Benevento's birthday at The Cap during Joe Russo's Almost Dead. The interns cut out and posted photos of Marco Benevento so we could all celebrate the king of the keys!
[gallery ids="|"]We're all about making memories at The Capitol Theatre. Whether it's ringing in The New Year with party hats and noise makers, or striking a pose at one of our many photo booths, the interns are the ones that make it happen! We wouldn't be able to do all these fun things without them. Next time you see an intern hanging up posters or handing out candles, give them a high-five and a big THANK YOU!

Fans searched all around The Capitol Theatre for acorns that contained a special prize.
